Responsibilities of “Rīgas satiksme” Board chairman distributed among three existing board members
Following a proposal of the “Rīgas satiksme” Council, the Board of “Rīgas satiksme” decided to distribute the responsibilities of its chairman among three existing Board – Juris Švanders, Armands Krūze and Emīls Jakrins and to set areas of responsibility for each of them.
As reported earlier, on November 19 Riga City Council Chairman Oļegs Burovs made changes in the management of “Rīgas satiksme”. The so-far chairman of the company’s Board, Ernests Saulītis, was appointed the fifth member of the Council and will start fulfilling his duties in the Council on November 22. Because of this decision, E.Saulītis will fulfil the duties of “Rīgas satiksme” Board chairman until November 21 (inclusive).
Thus the Council of “Rīgas satiksme” consists of Normunds Narvaišs, Ainārs Ozols, Andrejs Pančenko, Ernests Saulītis and Juris Švanders, who will start fulfilling his duties in the Council at the moment of finishing to work in the “Rīgas satiksme” Board.
